Happy New Year!!

And Happy Decade, Lunar Eclipse, Full Moon, and Blue Moon!!!
My New Years Eve was about as exciting as last years... when I was stranded overnight @ the Chicago Airport. =(
Our curfew @ The Ashram is 9:30 so what are you gonna do!?? I could get all fussy and protest that that is lame and blah blah, but why fight it?? Just be one with the situation =)
Soooo I did some reading by candle light, went to bed early, woke up around midnight because I could hear all the fireworks, walked out onto my cold windy balcony and looked up into the night sky to see a moon shinning bright as the sun. The Lunar eclipse was only about 7% where we are (I dont know how that all works exactly?) so we saw like a tiny sliver at the top that looked like a shadow. The coolest part was early in the night when the moon was bright orange!!!!

PS- If you look back to one of my earlier posts, "Rickshaw Rodeo", there is a video that I reposted (I guess it didnt work the first time) so if you wanna check that out that would be cool!

Miss you all and hope you had a wonderful holiday season!
Everyday can be a Holiday, right Madonna???
Today we are gonna take a dip in the Ganges to purify ourselves. Interesteing.... Tradition here. Why not??

  1. Whats up ladies Dusty here. Looks like you girls are having a blast. I am super jealous off the paragliding. From what you said it sounds more like base jumping. Whatever it was sounds fun. It has been pouring down rain for the past four days and is supposed to rain hard for another week. So be happy. Tommy T's house is in the flood zone. He is getting a little scared. I think he will be alright. Anyways I think I am going to check out a Jesus spectacular in Redding, Cricket. It is in February (the weekend of the fifth) I am going to check and see what the buzz is all about. Should be interesting to say the least. LOVE YOU LADIES. PS I might be moving next door to Aimee and Leslie I hope I can get into the spot. Oh yeah I for got to tell you my old man had a heart attack but he is fine. I think it was more of a blockage but anyhow the Docs say he is fortunate it happened like this because they caught it early and there was no damage to his heart. Scared the shit out of me though. 2. CHRYSANTHEMUMMMM I'm so sorry I havent talked to you ONE freaking bit. I'm annoyed w. myself for that, b.c I know you're coming home really soon. When do you actually come back? Anyways I miss you alot, I've been quite busy, but everything you've been doing sounds sooo amazing! It makes me want to do my study abroad right now! Lately, I've been looking at 'au pair'families online for when I live in France, so that's not nearly as hardcore lol, but I still can't wait. I wanna hear everrrything in detail when you get back. We'll go out somewhere or something k?

    Miss you lots!
